Terms and Conditions of British Carpers
Delivery Charges and Schedule :
Carriage will be charged based on the weight of the goods purchased and is detailed in the shopping basket when an order is made.
Our preferred couriers are Royal Mail Recorded delivery or Hermes couriers
We aim to deliver goods within 7 working days of order & full payment however if this is not possible we will notify the customer of the expected delivery date immediately
We will deliver the goods to the address provided by you when you placed your order or the address details specified in your account.
We will make every reasonable effort to deliver your products safely and in accordance with any specific delivery instructions that you give us however we will not be liable for any delay, damage or loss as a result of complying with such specific instructions.
If our supply of the products is delayed by an event outside our control then we will contact you as soon as possible to let you know and we will take steps to minimise the effect of the delay. Provided we do this we will not be liable for delays caused by the event
Goods (and risks to them) will become your responsibility from the time we deliver the goods to the address you gave us (or otherwise in accordance with your delivery instructions).
Credit Card Security:
Online purchases are processed securely and we do not store or have access to a customers’ card details.
BritishCarpers.com do not disclose buyers’ information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfilment. In this case the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.
Data collected by this site is used to:
a. Take and fulfill customer orders
b. Administer and enhance the site and service
c. Only disclose information to third-parties for goods delivery purposes
BritishCarpers.com are confident that you will be delighted with their purchase. In the unlikely event that this is not so for any reason simply return the purchase to us for an exchange or refund of the purchase price. If we have made a mistake we will also refund the delivery charges.
All colours, sizes and specifications are for guidance only and may vary in different light conditions
Should a customer wish to return an item for a refund or exchange please do so within 30 days of the date of purchase. Unless faulty, goods must be returned in a re-saleable condition.
When returning goods please remember to make sure that you include your name, address and a telephone number (daytime) inside the package and please do not forget to tell us if you want a replacement or a refund. We will only refund the delivery cost if we have despatched damaged or incorrect goods. This policy does not affect your statutory rights.
The customer will be responsible for any returned goods until they reach us. Please make sure that you get proof of postage and that the method of delivery requires a signature as in the event of a lost package we will not be able to accept responsibility unless a signature can be supplied. This policy does not affect your statutory rights.
Returning Faulty Goods :
In the unfortunate event that a customer receives a faulty item please return the item to us – clearly stating the fault – and include your name, address and order number if possible. Once we have received your goods back our returns team will investigate the fault and advise what we intend to do. Should we not be able to find a fault we will contact you for clarification.

We may transfer this agreement to someone else. We may transfer our rights and obligations under these terms to another organisation. We will always tell you in writing if
this happens and we will ensure that the transfer will not affect your rights under the contract.
You need our consent to transfer your rights to someone else. You may only transfer your rights or your obligations under these terms to another person if we agree to this
Nobody else has any rights under this contract. This contract is between you and us. No other person shall have any rights to enforce any of its terms.
British Carpers reserves the right to change these Terms and Conditions at any time.
